Updated corona release: AYY’s rental facilities are available for booking

In accordance with the decision of the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland, events can now be organised without restrictions. 

However, section 58 c on the general hygiene requirements of the Communicable Diseases Act still applies throughout Finland, and the event organisers must read the information.

AYY recommends that its associations follow current official guidelines. Events can be organised without restrictions.

On 14 Mar, the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland has decided not to continue restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 in the Uusimaa region after 15 March. Section 58 c on the general hygiene requirements of the Communicable Diseases Act still applies throughout Finland. The section applies to all customer and public premises without separate official decisions and is valid until 30 June 2022.

In order to improve health safety, organisers must comply with the following obligations:

• Clients and participants have the opportunity to wash or sanitise their hands
• Clients and participants are given instructions for maintaining an adequate social distance, cleaning their hands and for other measures to prevent the spread of infections
• Cleaning of premises and surfaces is intensified
• The presence of customers and participants is arranged as loosely as possible, taking into account the specific characteristics of the activity in question. If there are seats, the seats are placed sufficiently far apart.

Rental facilities can be booked and used without restrictions. 

However, the bookers must familiarise themselves with the general hygiene requirements required by section 58 c of the Communicable Diseases Act and take the requirements into account in their operations.

Reservation can now be cancelled no later than 7 days before the event free of charge

Face mask recommendation

Please come to the office only when healthy, with no symptoms suggestive of COVID-19. Wash and disinfect hands on arrival and wear a face mask. Please observe social distancing. We've staggered the pick-up of keys on the moving day, so please check your email to check the specific time and get in touch if necessary.

The common sauna shifts on AYY's properties continue

The common sauna shifts are back to normal starting from Feb 8th.

Club rooms, laundry rooms and other common areas will remain in use for the time being. However, while using them, user must completely follow the regulations in force at the time of assembly, safety intervals and hygiene instructions.
